Do you live in the Bay Area? Do you have an animal lover or dog person who loves to see how dogs positive influence our lives? There are free graduations happening this fall at Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael.
These moving events are open to the public and are inspirational and family-friendly for all ages. I think they make for a wonderful weekend excursion and a great way to learn more how dogs give fearlessly!
There will be plenty of pomp and circumstance for the canine graduates who will proudly take the stage at Guide Dogs for the Blind’s public graduation ceremonies this summer and fall. Bay Area dog lovers, kids, and cameras are welcome every other Saturday at the heartwarming ceremonies at the organization’s campus in San Rafael. These public events honor the independence and companionship that Guide Dogs for the Blind’s exceptional guide dogs provide for the people they will serve, but they also allow Guide Dogs for the Blind clients to meet the committed puppy raisers who cared for their canine heroes until they were old enough to begin formal training at Guide Dogs for the Blind’s campus. Kleenex will be provided. Graduation day public tours of the campus are offered at 10:30 a.m. or noon on the days of the ceremonies. Pre-registered bus groups are also welcome.
Saturdays in 2018 at 1:30 pm: November 10, November 24, December 8 and December 22
