On Saturday, May 10th people of all ages can join in a fun skipping fundraising event for Hopalong & Second Chance Animal Rescue.

Walk by any school or playground in the city and you're bound to see kids skipping. Skipping is fun! It's part of a good workout, and it generates a lot of positive energy.

May 10th is the 15th Anniversary of Skip for a Cause sponsored by iSkip.com with this year's uplifting event benefiting Hopalong & Second Chance Animal Rescue.

This fun event is appropriate for all fitness levels. Well behaved dogs are welcome too. Those who are seeking more of a physical challenge will have the option of skipping the entire distance.

Don't live in San Francisco? Register as a VIRTUAL Participant!

The great thing about skipping is that you can choose to SKIP an event all together and still be a part of it! If you are unable to join May 10 for any reason, you to still help support the Hopalong & Second Chance Animal Rescue by registering as a virtual participant. Your skipping goodies -- an “I love skipping” bumper sticker and SKIP ON! postcard -- will be sent to you in the mail.

Registration for both options is $20 (though no skippers will be turned away due to lack of funds). All proceeds go directly to the Hopalong & Second Chance Animal Rescue. Your $20 donation will cover a much needed vaccine, blanket, toy and one day’s worth of food for an animal in need.
