Do you know if your dog has dental disease?

As our dogs get older taking care of their teeth and gums remains important. If you adopt an adult dog like we did, you don't have the opportunity to introduce teeth brushing as a puppy. Your dog may also have had poor nutrition as a puppy and come to you with compromised teeth and gums. After we took Cleo for her first teeth cleaning we quickly discovered this was the case, and shortly afterward had paid for two root canals.

Adoptable Senior Dog of the Week: Paco

You'll fall in love with this adorable adoptable senior dog Paco. He is as gentle as dogs come. He's good with dogs, cats, children and even chickens! Yes, chickens.

Meet Paco, a real gem! Quiet and house trained, he's just a real easy keeper. Paco is a wonderful car passenger and gentle on leash.

We want him to get all the love he deserves for the rest of his twilight years. Our hearts break when dogs like this end up at animal shelters, their whole world taken from them! We know there is a wonderful place for this sweet fellow!

We would like for this lovely old dog to have a calm environment and plenty of love.

Paco is 13 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. Come meet this sweetheart at Muttville!
