What is your idea of perfect happiness?

A happy, healthy family. Pets to adore. Loving friends. A job that excites me. The opportunity to give back.  Waking each day full of full of inspiration about the possibilities out there.

Wow, I’d say I’m pretty darn happy right now!  I’m truly a lucky gal.

If you could come back as a dog or a cat, which one would it be & why?

A dog. They are so happy and blissful (in general). Being a cat wouldn’t be too bad but scheming and strategizing is pretty exhausting. No wonder they nap all the time!

What is your pet’s more treasured possession?

Romeo’s most treasured possessions are his humans. He is such a loverboy and wants to be around us all the time. He’s always getting right up in our business, sleeping on our heads, sitting by and on us and staring at us while softly purring and meowing. We love it.

Pugsley, on the other hand, while also very loving, would definitely say his most treasured possession is my husband’s pillow.

Your proudest achievement so far?

Well, my two-year-old daughter is amazing.  But it’s hard to take credit for that. I lucked out!  I am very proud that Romeo, Pugsley and I have raised $42,000 for animal rescues since last year. I’m so proud and honored to watch the BlogPaws community grow and to see the amazing directions our members have taken.

Who are your heroes in real life?

My heroes in real life are those who rescue animals. Rescue is hard, heartbreaking and exhausting and often thankless work. I am so grateful for all of the people who dedicate their lives to helping animals. Where would we be without these amazing, selfless souls?
