VINELAND — At age 7, Alek Raimonde likes dogs and he enjoys reading books.
So it made sense for him to sit down with canines at the city’s library on Wednesday night and pick out some books he thought a dog would enjoy.
“I like all dogs. And I think they like it when someone reads to them,” Alek said.
Alek was one of more than a dozen children ages 6 to 12 who sat and read books during the library’s Puppy Tales event.
He selected the book “Oh No, George,” a story about the antics of a dog attempting to behave at home.
