Dr. Caroll, who works at Yuma Regional Cancer Center's Cancer Center says "They go into the rooms with me if the patients would like to see them and they also go into the chemo therapy room to give some puppy love."

Dogs seem to help with any type of illness. I have heard of autistic children seeing improvements when dogs were introduced. The elderly really seem happy with dogs as well.

I agree Kim. Dogs are a natural when it comes to helping us emotionally and physically.
